Turning a Standard Promotional Postcard into Something Worth Keeping

In 2019, I was asked to write copy for a postcard NorCal Cannabis planned to distribute at a cannabis industry retreat in the Mendocino redwoods.

Knowing most promotional postcards land in the recycling bin within minutes, I pitched a more memorable idea: a retreat-themed sticker book.

It gave us space to share key info, sparked a little joy, and—best of all—became a souvenir attendees actually wanted to keep.
