About Me

I'm a San Francisco–based journalist, copywriter, and content strategist with 15+ years of experience writing stories that make people curious, hungry, informed, and occasionally all three at once.

I spent nine seasons writing a 49ers column for SFist — think Sex and the City meets NFL commentary — and once reviewed dog products using my 150-pound Saint Bernard as an unwilling model. (You can put a dog that size in a shedding-control onesie. You cannot make him like it.) My journalism has also appeared in Thrillist, Eater SF, BuzzFeed, and Time Out.

On the brand side, I've written copy and content for companies including Sephora, Blue Shield of California, and Victoria's Secret — specializing in voice-driven storytelling and making complicated things feel human. (Full client list and work history live on my résumé.)

I have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from UNC Wilmington and a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. I also did a brief stint at the San Francisco Comedy College, which resulted in a few decent punchlines and no formal accreditation whatsoever.
